Donations
Donating gently used items is one impactful way we can serve our community. Please click on each category below for more details on how and where to donate.

Instructions:
- Determine which organization you would like to donate to. Contact them about which donations they accept and when donations can be delivered.
- Organize and set aside unused or unwanted items in your home.
- Request items you wish to donate from family and friends. Tell them where you will be donating their items and why you would like to help this specific organization.
- Schedule a neighborhood donation drive. Put up posters or create an event on social media, stating the day and time of your event and where to drop off donations.
- Schedule a time to take or have donations picked up by organization.
- Thank family, friends, and neighbors who helped you collect donations.

Make & Take
There are many ways you and your family can serve together. Make a meal for a neighbor, take flowers or notes of encouragement to someone who is sick, or put together care packages for teachers or homeless shelters. Please click below to get more ideas on how you can engage your community.

- Instructions:
- Determine which items you want to pack in your appreciation kit. Recommended items are single packaged snacks, office supplies, water bottle or coffee mugs, tea bags, flavored water packets, gift cards to Target, Walmart, Amazon, Barnes N Noble, Starbucks, and notes of encouragement.
- Pack appreciation kits in gift bags, baskets, etc.
- Contact the school you wish to serve and arrange a time to take your teacher appreciation kits.

- Instructions:
- Recruit family, friends, neighbors, classroom, or Discipleship group to make cards.
- Schedule a time to meet and make cards together. Get creative! Use quotes, unique stationary, stickers, etc. Click on the links below for more ideas.
- Contact the facility you wish to serve and arrange a time to take your encouragement letters.

- Make “care kits” to donate to homeless shelters and local partners.
- Instructions:
- Determine which items you want to pack in your care kit. Recommended items are shampoo, body wash, sanitary wipes, combs, brushes, nail clippers/files, toothbrush and toothpaste, socks, undershirts, etc.
- Pack care kits in sturdy, plastic bags that can be closed (Example: gallon sized Ziploc)
- Contact the shelter or local partner you wish to serve and arrange a time to take your care kits.
- Instructions:
- Pack first aid kits for homeless shelters and local partners.
- Instructions:
- Determine which items you want to pack in your care kit. Recommended items are band aids, athletic and medical tape, antiseptic spray, triple antibiotic ointment, etc.
- Pack care kits in sturdy, plastic bags that can be closed (Example: gallon sized Ziploc)
- Contact the shelter or local partner you wish to serve and arrange a time to take your first aid kits.
- Instructions:
- Prepare a home-cooked meal or baked goods for the residents of a nearby homeless shelter.
- Instructions:
- Call shelter to confirm which food items are preferred.
- Schedule a time for you and or your family to bake and cook.
- Contact the shelter or local partner you wish to serve and arrange a time to take your first aid kits.
