Aaron: Tibs or Shiro; a tomato and chickpea stew Morganne: Kye Wat stew; spicy with lentils
Aaron and Morganne serve with the Church Catalyst team in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, which partners with the Kristos Andinet Church (KAC) to plant churches in unreached areas and to train up leaders within the existing partner churches.
Their Ethiopian team focuses on church planting. Aaron focuses on leadership development and regional training for the churches. Morganne focuses on being a mom to their kids and also volunteers at the Christian International School in Addis Ababa.
Growing up at Compassion shaped their lives and impacted their calling to full-time ministry. Aaron and Morganne saw how seriously people took their faith and how they were walking in obedience. As they continued to grow up many observed how God was already using them and encouraged them to walk in the same obedience. After discovering how their skills and interests could be useful on the mission field, they decided to become full-time missionaries. Aaron and Morganne moved to Ethiopia with their children in 2019.
Aaron and Morganne are from Savannah and have attended Compassion since high school. They have three young children; Elijah, Anna and James.
