We partner with Misja Poslij Mnie – “Send Me Ministry” in English – through the leadership of Kazik and Dorota Barczuk.
Kazik is Polish and of Jewish descent. His father was a survivor of the Holocaust and Kazik has been passionate about reaching Jews with the healing and hope of Christ, in particular for survivors of this horrific event. In the late nineties, the Barczuks began ministry among Jews in Poland, Russia, and Ukraine. The main objective of this ministry was humanitarian aid. They found that the elderly and sick, in particular former prisoners of the ghettos and concentration camps, widows, and orphans were extremely vulnerable groups in the new social and economic structure of that region. Many of these people were elderly, unable to work and did not have any resources to meet basic needs. Seeing the enormity of needs in 1998, along with friends and Partners including Compassion Christian Church, they created the Foundation for Humanitarian Aid Chewra. In 2003 together the Barczuks founded Send Me Ministry, a continuation of the Foundation for Humanitarian Aid Chewra.
“Bearing in mind that even the smallest help can change someone’s life, we want to continue our ministry, and expand ‘our borders’ of missionary and pastoral activities.”
