The team arrived in Atlanta on time this evening and their flight to Savannah is scheduled to depart and arrive as scheduled in Savannah at midnight tonight!
We are praising God for everything He has done through the team this week and trusting Him for continued safety in the days to come as everyone prepares for Hurricane Dorian. Below is a final message from the team about their time together at BVSA this week!
Praise the Lord! God has been so faithful on this trip to Guatemala. The Lord has opened my eyes and my heart to love the people in the village of Buena Vista. The boys and girls of the soccer academy have become like my children. The impact Brother Caesar had on me is indescribable. I was humbled and encouraged to serve God with all my heart. I will always pray for BVSA, the village of Buena Vista and the men and women whom God has chosen to show the love of Christ here in this place. I would tell them to “Be Bold! Be Strong! For the Lord your God is with you!” For those reading this blog, if you want the Lord to expand your heart and fill you more with His love, go on a missions trip. You will never be the same.
