Trip Description
GO INDIA
This team will come alongside our partners at Mid-India Church Partners (MICP) and focus on the children of New Hope – a home for children from Christian families who have experienced severe persecution and either lost parents or cannot stay in their homes for safety reasons. The team will teach basic English and Bible lessons and love these children and the incredible teachers and guardians who care for them. Jesus Christ is moving in the heart of India – you could be a part of it!
Most people who visit India will tell you it is like no other place in the world. It’s sometimes described as an ‘assault on the senses’ – the sites, sounds, smells and people are rich with history and vibrant life. It is a fascinating place with a heart breaking story, still stuck in a caste system that tells people their life’s value is dependent on the social station they are born into. There are 2,033 unreached people groups in India, which equates to 1.2 billion people living without ever having heard the Gospel. It is one of the most populated countries in the world, located in the 10/40 window (meaning least reached with the Gospel), and only 2.2% of the population are Christian.
Since their beginning in 1969, Mid India Church Partners has planted over 450 churches and baptized over 17,000 people! MICP has established medical clinics, schools, orphanages and small businesses as a means to share the heart of the Gospel and their bold evangelists have endured the kind of hardships many of us have only read about in Scripture. In the midst of darkness, there is a great light shining!

About Mid India Church Partners
Vivert & Neelam Lall are the courageous leaders of MICP in Damoh, India. Our partnership with Mid India Church Partners focuses on the church planting and leadership training efforts. Beginning in 1969, MICP involves many areas of ministry including a video production facility, an eye hospital, a Bible college, Christian school, and church growth ministries.
Mid-India Church Partners is dedicated to spreading the gospel of Christ throughout India. The primary purpose of MICP’s organization is to promote and foster growth through church planting, evangelist training and caring for persecuted children. The Book of John encompasses Jesus’ life, ministry, death, and resurrection. This, the true call of the Gospel, shapes our understanding of God and His role as Appointed King (Acts 13:33). Their mission entails more than just an invitation to follow Jesus it is a call to be saved, make disciples of all nations, to boldly proclaim Christ and teach through discipleship as it is written:
Because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
Romans 10:9-10
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
Matthew 28:18-20
