GO LOCAL Camp TRAC 1
This week of camp is for female campers, however there are roles for both male and female volunteers. You must be at least 18 to qualify for this team.
We need you! Did you know that in our region there over 900 children in foster care?! If you have a heart to reach students in desperate need of the truth of God’s great love for them, this trip is for you! Teen Reach Adventure Camp (TRAC) is a positive, faith-based summer camp experience that offers hope and encouragement to foster children who are 12 to 15 years old that may have suffered abuse, neglect, or abandonment. The camp is specifically designed to ensure the success of every foster child who attends camp. Each three-day camp provides a unique ratio of one counselor to every two children. Through quality time with each child and encouragement, each child leaves camp with hope. Campers explore the wilderness, participate in waterfront activities, make crafts, and participate in a low-level challenge course that helps them recognize the importance of self-respect, teamwork, and communication while having fun. This is an incredible opportunity for our church to play a vital role in the lives of these children who are facing incredible obstacles and remind them of the great love of their heavenly Father!

Please note, all applications must be submitted 90 days before departure for international trips and 60 days before domestic trips. Applying for a GO Team does not confirm your spot on the team. Once applications have been reviewed, you will be notified of your acceptance or status on a waiting list. If a team is full you can still apply and be put on a waiting list should a spot become available. If a Campus is not able to fill their team, any open spots will open to applicants from other Campuses 120 days prior to departure for international teams and 90 days prior to departure for domestic teams. Once your application is accepted you will be asked to submit a deposit ($100 for international and $25 for domestic teams) as well as complete a travel profile in Managed Missions. Submission of your deposit and profile will confirm your spot on the team.
We will continue to monitor any restrictions to travel due to COVID protocol in the US as well as the host countries for our Teams. Because restrictions fluctuate, all locations, dates of travel and costs listed are tentative and subject to change. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility!
