Trip Description
GO RWANDA College
Do not miss out on this incredible opportunity to build relationships with our partners and their communities in Rwanda! This team was born out of a vision trip taken by several pastors from our church. As Rwanda continues the work of reconciliation after the 1994 genocide, there is something unique and beautiful about this place that has experienced so much pain. The people are joyful, full of life and committed to forgiveness and healing in their nation. There’s so much for all of us to learn from their incredible journey and strength. This trip will change you. It will change your family. It will change the way you see the world. It will change the way you experience grace and forgiveness. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by!

About Anastase & Esperance Sabamungu
Our main focus is to reach out to people with the Love of God through Jesus Christ so that they can experience a long lasting relationship with Him. This has taken us from Healing and Reconciliation ministry; helping church leaders, returnees from exile, genocide perpetrators and survivors, inmates go through memorable healing and reconciliation workshops, to church planting. We have so far planted 2 churches, one in Kigali City and the other is Runda in Kamonyi district located in Southern province. We still want to see more churches planted and God willing plant another one. Another area of focus is the youth, we have been organizing annual youth conferences and still want to see this continue in the future.
Additional care includes working with the poor population of the community to move from poverty to a more sustainable life. Our ministry helps train on community development with about 8 groups, the groups ranging from 8 people to 26. We see them growing emotionally and plan to sustain doing more trainings for them. They are trained in how to resolve conflict, save, how to create business, how to work in a group. They train how to create a vision for where they want to grow in their development and teach them the tools to get there.
In 2018 we started a kindergarten and they have watched it grow from 6 children to 36. COVID created setbacks, but the school is still running.
