It’s Friday – This is our sixth awesome day in Ecuador. The team had the opportunity to return to the school in San Jose to continue playing with the kids and hand out “Love is ______” bracelets. While there, we were fortunate to be able to watch a rendition of “Little Red Riding Hood” performed by the children during their recess. After leaving the school, the team came to the decision to go on a prayer walk around the village; however, in the end, we all hiked up a hill with a panoramic view of San Jose and spoke prayers over the village and its people. Once leaving San Jose, we returned to Carlos and Janette’s house to eat lunch. We had hamburgers!!! Around 4 o’clock, the team went to the orphanage in Olón to see the work the Lord has tasked the staff and volunteers with of caring for the children. At about 6 o’clock, we left the orphanage to return to the House. Not long after eating the most AMAZING empanadas and soup in the world, we all made our way to the Community Center in Curia to watch Tarzan (in Spanish) with the many, many niños of the village (I sang along to all of the s
