Well, I wasn’t sure if I would make it into China or not but I’m here!
As much as I hated having to leave Vietnam and my good friend Ngu, it was time to move on to the next destination of this journey. But with a flight from Vietnam on the 19th of January along with a visa that clearly states “Arrive before 19 Jan” I really wasn’t sure how this day would end up. Will I be allowed into China or will I end up staying here for a few more days?
It didn’t take long as I was questioned at the check in counter; a supervisor was brought in and after some cross-checking of information he said, “no problem.” Before I knew it I had my boarding passes and I’m headed on my way!

On my way to Chengdu and a three day visit with our ministry partners there. Looking forward to understanding this outreach effort which is happening in a tough place. Traveling alone in a country with a language I don’t understand at all is exciting!
Thanks for your prayers and thanks to all the SCC saints for caring about the people of the world.
