On Sunday June 7th we had Savannah Christian night at the worship service. We presented about the city of Savannah with pictures along with the history of the town. We also explained about Savannah Christian having five campuses and we sang for the survivors. We spoke about our connection with the Polish Christian ministry, and the reason we came to Ostroda – to share our love and the love of God. Afterwards a woman came to me and said that she and her husband had been atheist ever since the war and because of all the horrible things that happened they didn’t believe in God. But because of the love that was shown to them this week they had made a commitment to go back home and start reading the Bible again. They were very happy and could not believe all the love, gifts and sharing along with the warmth that they had felt the whole week.
Today was an emotional day as we had an opportunity to visit a concentration camp. Many in our team and many survivors cried to think of what happened there.
