Praying for those hurting from others sinful ways. Prayers that seek peace, hope, and mercy for them today, tomorrow and forever as they will continue to heal, grow and move forward with a full loving heart to continue in God’s plan for them. Prayers of Compassion.

Today was fantastico! When we woke up this morning we were absorbed with the love of God through our morning devotion. Shortly after we traveled to the town called Bolivar, where we set up shop to begin an unforgettable day.
We were split into groups, some would go paint homes for the day, and some would go to homes and provide medicines for the families and pray for them. My mom (Bridgitte Hatfield) and I both went to homes and provide medicines and pray. It was such a great experience, from seeing chickens running inside a house to 90 year old lady burping after taking her ibuprofen! I was beyond grateful that I could experience these moments with great people. Shout out to Maria for the great Spanish translation! So afterwards we ate a delicious lunch and painted yet another home. Then we played some fútbol with the children. Everyone LOVES playing with the kids because they are always so happy and bubbly. Every time you see the kids or talk to them there is always a smile. Once that came to a close, the girls on our team had a get together with the teen girls in the town and made some t-shirts and did manicures. They also really got to get to bond with the girls. Then as a team we ate dinner and headed back to our house. As of right now people are getting ready for activities that tomorrow will bring and trying to under stand how to watch a soccer game in Spanish. In a couple minutes we will sit by the camp fire and tell our God moments of the day. Then have a competitive game of yet again more soccer! I love it here and would much rather be here embracing what God has to offer, then doing what people my age do, like watching Netflix all day.
