Day Tres of Ecuador
Today the camps were really fun as we had a surf camp and a sports camp. As I tried to surf today it did not work out too well. I was able to catch the wave but gravity pulled me down. So ended up playing soccer instead of trying to surf again. At first it was Cody and I against three little girls so we were letting them win. When they would score, their faces would light up; it was adorable! Then other kids joined in and all of them were really good. We made our friends play because we were losing by a landslide. By the end of the game almost everyone on our side of the beach was playing in the same soccer game. That was just a small part of my marvelous day! I love Ecuador so much, it’s the best!
Today was an amazing day! Our team is really becoming closer and we can feel God working here in Ecuador. Our day started with a morning devotion and a walk to San Jose for breakfast. After breakfast we took a short prayer walk around the town and then visited the kids at the school. They were very excited to see us and we had a great time playing with them. We had lunch and headed back to the church for lunch. We then spent the rest of the afternoon playing soccer, surfing, and just loving on the kids here. We just finished dinner and evening devotions, and now we’re ending the day with a bonfire and card games. We’re having a great time showing God’s love to the people of Ecuador. It’s a great place and the people here are wonderful!
