Even though this is our last day on this mission trip, we all realize our mission is just beginning in some cases or continuing stronger in others.
We had a late breakfast then Carlos and Jeanette lead a wonderful praise and worship service for us. Both us them sang of us, shared with us and most importantly just loved us. Carlos gave us a homework assignment our first day and today was our exam. We were to read about Paul’s life of ministry and report what we got out of his work and our work this week. Words can not describe the stories and emotion that were shared today. You will need to seek a team member to feel the power of this week. As soon as we finished our praise to The Lord for the work we were able to do together, the sun came out on us. A true sign of our work being blessed this week.
We thanked each member of the Ecuador team individually with a small gift of our appreciation. They have truly been a blessing to us. We could not have been successful without them.
We headed back to the house under the warmth of sun. Several of us sat out by the ocean to enjoy the beauty for an hour. As the sun sets on San Jose and Curia, we from SCC find ourselves truly blessed from this experienced. Please consider serving on a mission trip. You will gain much from the experience.
