From Hope Weibel:
Today was a lot of fun. We got to do some service projects today. Half of our team painted some of the decks at the camp, and the other half went and served A woman named Zosia. A year ago, Zosia’s house was struck by lightning and it burned down. Some of the Proem team went and set her up a little living space in a shed/cottage, equipped with running water, which she hadn’t had before. Today we went and “beautified” her home. We built an awning for her shed, weeded and cleaned out a little garden area, and built a fence for her. It was a really great experience being able to serve such a wonderful woman. Later on, we took a trip to Łodz where Proem has a great amount of focus. We explored the mall that was there, and we really got to experience why these people need outreach. All in all, I’d say today was humbling. Taking out an entire day to serve somebody else really put into perspective the reason we are on this trip. That reason is to serve God and his people!
Love you Hope you are in my prayers.
