I started my day reading this:
By Christine Caine
I have one word on my heart for you today … “BE”!
We cannot just talk about the needs of others, cry about the needs of others, or sing about the needs of others; we must BE the hands and feet of Jesus and meet the needs of others.
My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. (1 John 3:18 NKJV)
I am thankful for the opportunity to partner with our mission partners here in Poland and be the hands & feet of Jesus. I think we sometimes wait for the big plan that God has for our lives when his plan is for us to show up in the little things of life. To share with the person whose luggage is lost, to be patient as we wait for supplies on our mission job site and to care for the people around us whether they are from Poland or our team mates. I am incredibly blessed to be serving with such gracious team mates. The sweet young girls on our team waited patiently for luggage to arrive & have been ready to take on any task they have been given. The project We are working on is painting the rooms of a special needs school. We are working with team members from Northern Ireland where I hear they have a “wee bit” of rainy weather. We have enjoyed getting to know new people & to know that God is working in the hearts of his people all over the world. We have prayed over teachers, students & administrators of the school. We have prayed that God would open doors for our mission partners there & that the paint on the walls would be a starting point for the love of God in the school. We have also gone to concerts in the streets here where other teams are performing. It has been a fun way to engage with the community. I am thanking God for this opportunity & ask that you keep our team in your prayers and pray that we make the most of ever opportunity here.
Blessing to church family
Joleen
