P.A.C.K. began in Spring 2014 after it’s founders were unable to find an age-appropriate venue that would allow their children to serve needy children in our community. It was inspired by 1 John 3:17 which says, “If anyone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion, how can God’s love be in that person?” P.A.C.K. currently serves about 450 children in our community each month and plans to double this impact by August 2015.
P.A.C.K. has two purposes: 1) to serve needy children in our community and 2) to provide a hands-on venue for families to serve others together.
Everyone is welcome at P.A.C.K. events….children encouraged! Events typically take place on the first Sunday of each month (during the school year), from 4-5pm, at East Campus. Packing is done in a simple assembly line and anyone who can put a can of food in a bag can participate. It is a simple 1 hour time commitment that can make a big difference in our community and also in the life of your family.
