We had the honor of dining with Wycliffe Bible Translators to Papua New Guinea, and, a native Kenyan missionary on Tuesday night. After another Wed afternoon prepping the training site, we hosted a cookout for missionaries serving at the JAARS center and preparing to depart on their overseas assignments. Team was blessed and encouraged. Its becoming very clear that the highlight of the trip to JAARS is the time spent hearing from missionaries one on one. We are all very much looking forward to Thursday night hosting a large group of seniors, all former missionaries, to hear their words of encouragement. Had the opportunity to share our “Love is____” campaign and was able to exchange bracelets with five folks who have committed to being prayer partners. Next generation on our team (14-18 year olds) getting a lot of heavy exhortation to follow God’s plan for their life and consider the high calling of participating in taking God’s word to people who have no Bible in their heart language.
