We are currently sitting in the Amsterdam airport waiting to board the plane to Warsaw, Poland! The trip has been very smooth so far and the team is pretty excited about arriving in Poland. As we were waiting to board the plane to Amsterdam, I noticed the diversity of nationalities present. It really helps us to see outside of our American perspective where we are always surrounded by people who are just like us. On the plane from New York to Amsterdam, Merline and Harrison met a man named Robert from Poland and he taught them a few Polish phrases. Harrison also gave him a copy of The Reason for God by Timothy Keller. We just had a cool conversation with a guy from Australia who is traveling to Paris. It’s just really cool to be among the world of international travelers and to be one of them!
Half of the team just ate a the Swedish Kitchen in the airport and insisted that I include a message about how amazing the food is…especially the tiny pancakes.
When we get to Warsaw, we will spend the day visiting the city with our friends Daniel and Edyta and will head to Zakosciele where we will be staying for a few days until Kontakt Lodz.
Talk to you all soon,
Jordan
