Greetings from Ecuador! Today was a free day so it was a very chill day. We got to sleep in an extra hour (which was amazing) and we went to San Jose to see the children during recess. We had so much fun with the kids and we all made special connections with them. It truly was one of my favorite experiences on this trip so far!
PS: I miss you mom, dad and mac soooo much. I send you all my love.

Ecuador has been an amazing experience, we have done everything from painting houses to building rooms. Today was a more relaxing but yet eventful day. We started out going to the school during recess the kids were overwhelmed to see Americans wanting to play with them. We then went from there to Montonita which is a more culturally diverse city. In which more people spoke English and therefore it was more likely to be able to carry a conversation with a salesman. We also did some sweet activities that involved the ocean it was fun. After Montonita we traveled to the great city of Bolivar. On the way there a man sat beside me and he spoke little English and I spoke little Spanish so we were able to communicate and have a nice conversation. In Bolivar we had a awesome church service that we mostly led and we had a interpreter interpret the messages for us. It was cool to see how the message traveled through the interpreter and to the hearts of the people in Bolivar.
