Another incredible day with incredible people! We began our day at 0730 with our daily devotional.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
Being fortunate enough to serve at JAARS this week has certainly given all of us a lot to think about this week!
I’ve been one of the hangar guys and being able to work alongside aircraft mechanics and pilots who share the goal of spreading God’s Word is a truly remarkable experience.
I’ve primarily worked in the Avionics Shop alongside a young man named Er-Jin. He’s from South Korea and his parents were missionaries in Papua New Guinea. He’s incredibly smart and quite patient. (Because of him I haven’t broken anything yet!)
We ended our night by sharing pizza and stories of some of the incredible people we’ve met. Please pray for the amazing men and women here! The effort and sacrifices they make to spread the Word is something lovely and honorable and noble to reflect on.
Your Christian Brothers and Sisters,
The Compassion Christian JAARS Team.
