Hello from Mhondoro! Today we went to the village and met with the students of a local school. It was a long bumpy ride but so worth it once we arrived. I am told that the bumpy ride is referred to as an “African massage”. The kids were quiet at first but once we got to talk with them they warmed right up. We were able to share the Gospel with them in a fun learning way. They were eager to hear what we had to say and full of joy. My class received letters from America letting them know that they are loved and prayed for. The kids were grateful for these words of encouragement.
One of the things I loved today was the opportunity to pray over all of the students after hearing their struggles. It was a great honor for me to be able to pray with them. After school we headed over to to work on building the Pastor’s house. This was a great opportunity to work along side the locals and help complete a home that will be a safe place for Pastor Sidney to live. I am thankful for the opportunity to serve here in Zimbabwe and see how God is moving in mighty ways. Thank you for your continued prayers.
In Christ,
Joe McGrath
