Hey Families and Friends,
Sorry that we have not sent an update since we have arrived safely in Kherson, Ukraine. We did not have any issues traveling other than some minor delays, and we arrived with all of our luggage. It was an amazing blessing that we did not have any issues with going through customs with all of our bags of medical supplies. It was actually one of the easiest times going through customs and none of our bags were checked. We arrived late Sunday night and were taken to our host homes to get settled. The next morning we were off to a more rural village about 4 hours away where we have had medical clinics at a church the past two days. This is the first time that we and some of our Ukrainian translators have been to this village.
It has been awesome to see our team engage in sharing compassion through our medicals talents at the clinics. Everyone has engaged the patients and have been very flexible and willing to help where needed. After a long trip back, we are now back in Kherson with our host families. We are looking forward to visiting an Oncology Ward at one of the local hospitals tomorrow, and we will also conduct CPR class at Kherson Christian Church (KCC) in the afternoon. We are excited to see where God is at work and to join him in his ongoing ministry with our Ukrainian brothers and sisters. Please continue to pray that we will continue to choose love over fear as we work with the medical ministry at KCC to show the love of Jesus to both patients and medical care providers.
In Him,
Patrick
