This mission trip has been amazing. I’ve been stretched and challenged in many ways. I’ve walked in places where Paul preached the Gospel. I’ve had conversations with young men and women with beautiful hearts and gentle spirits, and encouraged them to have a relationship with Jesus. The views of the mountains are remarkable; the fountains and shops in the squares are so inviting. I’ve played soccer and dodge ball with gypsy children in the middle of a beautiful valley, surrounded by majestic mountains; and have had the time of my life singing and dancing along with the children while praising God.
My spiritual heart has been blessed by this amazing trip. I’ve grown closer to the members on my team and most importantly, I’ve grown closer to my Savior, Jesus Christ. I’ve been physically challenged with climbing stairs until my thigh muscles burned from fatigue, and have had sweat pouring from my body while walking through the city streets of Larissa while carrying the equipment we used to sing and dance in the squares…all for the sole purpose of lifting the Lord, Jesus’ name on high. I love the way God chose to use me for his kingdom building in Greece!
