Sunday May 26, 2019. Yesterday we invited locals to a church service that we had today. We were taught some songs in Spanish and a few of the girls went up on stage and presented them some English songs, even though there was a language barrier we were all able to show our love for the Lord. During the service we were also able to introduce ourselves to the community and one of the interns shared his testimony with a great visual example.
We all experienced an Ecuadorian futbol (soccer) game. It gave some a great perspective on their unique culture. God showed us that it is necessary to shift our eyes to what is good and encouraging instead of what we may want to do or think and to trust in him through all things. Sometimes it is was useful to take it slow and reflect on what was truly God’s will instead of your own.
