What a beautiful place the Proem Camp is! But the amazing thing is that people in Poland speak the same language we do…the language of love, hugs, smiles, and the heart of Jesus! Yesterday we worshiped with our brothers and sisters at the Tomy Church and it looked so much like what we do at Savannah Christian…singing some Chris Tomlin, listening to the word being spoken (through a translator), taking communion and sharing the death, burial, and resurrection of our savior, and talking with friends. We have so many things in common that the language barrier is not much of a barrier at all.
Camp started last evening and truly the kids are beautiful. Most of them don’t know much about Jesus but he is definitely here in the midst of them. Little do they know how their lives may be changed! Today started off with a traditional breakfast of several types of breads and cheese, cold cuts, fresh tomatoes and cucumbers. Hot tea is served with every meal. After that we had a camp meeting (songs, skit, and puppets) and then moved on to team time and sports.
The only thing that is really different about this camp is bedtime…at home our camp nights go until 11;00 or 12:00, but here the lights are out by 10:00, giving the kids a good night’s rest. Otherwise it looks much the same.
Please pray for the hearts of these children. Their souls hang in the balance. They will be the leaders of Poland in the future and are so impressionable! Pray that they find Jesus now!

I am praying that a seed will be planted in these children’s hearts, that they will know learn of Jesus that will change their lives forever. Gods Blessings to your team!!
