All around the world, people are afraid. Afraid of the past, afraid of the future. But in the present we can have LOVE.
All around the world, people are afraid of the poor. Afraid of what has happened there; their history. Whether its war, tear gas and riots, gangs.
Or even ocean waves.
All around the world, people are afraid of the future. And to be honest, it’s natural. But we should know that God is with us.
I may not be a writer, but I know that when we choose to LOVE great things begin.
1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love. but perfect love drives out all fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect. ”

Hi Cooper,
What a special blessing to see your name pop up today. Your dad, Reece and I have been praying for you and your team. We miss you deeply, but we are so proud of you, and that you allowed God to lead you to Ecuador. Your journal entry online today was so powerful. Yes, you do have the ability to move people through your words, no matter how imperfect you feel they may be.
You have a strong, fun, and gentle spirit. When you love on your family here at home, you make us all so joyful and at ease. I can only imagine what an impact your warm smile and fun ways of showing love, are having on all the people around you in those villages. What an amazing sight that must be. I pray you are catching yourself in pictures to share those stories with us later. We love you more than words can express, we are so blessed to have you as a leader in our family. Hugs and smiles!
To your team: Thank you for taking the challenge to serve is such a special way and step out into something so new. We could not be more proud and blessed by all of you. Enjoy every moment. We are praying for more awesome days of ministry ahead!
