As I reflect on my first week at Haus Edelweiss, I praise God for leading me here! There have been many new experiences around every corner.
We had a beautiful day in Austria on Thursday. The team here has assigned a student to each of us. They share their prayer needs with us and we pray for them daily. Thursday night I got to meet my prayer partner from Ukraine. She told me of the struggles of many of her Christian friends back home and also her concern for the conflict with Russia. I told her that I would pray for her and her friends daily.
The students that I have been meeting have been a joy! I love all the stories of their travels, their families, and I also love the differences in each of their accents and languages (there are students from 9 different countries here this session). While I may be helping them by serving, they probably don’t realize that they are helping me in my walk with The Lord.
Thank you to my Savannah Christian Church family, who have lifted me up with their notes of encouragement and prayers. God bless you, from the GO Austria Team!
